Arts in the Community

TAS Trent Valley regularly contributes funds to local organisations for arts-related projects.  If you know of a group that would benefit from our help, please speak to a committee member.  In recent years we have given grants to the following:

2025 The Flower Pod Reach UK Southwell to create a Reflection Garden.  Click this link for the March 2026 update.

2024 Southwell Minster’s Education Department to run ‘Stepping Up’ initiative for local children in their transition from primary to secondary school.

2023 Inspiring Musical Talent to provided funds for sheet music etc for children from low income families.

2022 Newark Dementia Care Group for an artist to work with clients and carers to create paintings and a collage of owls.

2021 Jesse Gray Primary School for an artist to work with Y1-Y6 children to create a collage based on ‘Wind in the Willows’.

In addition, in October 2025 we successfully applied for a grant of £1,000 from TAS Head Office's Patricia Faye Memorial Fund to promote events at Long Acre Arts, a brand new arts centre in Bingham.
